ChinaGAP refers to China's good agricultural practices, which is the breeding norms of China's agricultural varieties drafted by CNCA with reference to the internationally influential good agricultural practices and standards and in combination with China's agricultural conditions. ChinaGAP certification is the certification of good agricultural practices for the planting or breeding of crops, fruits and vegetables, beef cattle, beef sheep, dairy cows, pigs and poultry. Good agricultural practice - a series of national standards for control points and compliance norms, including field crops, fruits and vegetables, beef cattle, meat sheep, pigs, poultry and other agricultural products. This set of standards was officially released and implemented in July 2006.
GAP certification level
Level 1 certification: gap + certification, which is equivalent to EurepGAP. It is required that all primary control points in the specification shall meet the requirements, and 90% of secondary control points shall meet the requirements except for fruits and vegetables. There are no compliance provisions for level III control points.
Level 2 certification: 95% of all level 1 control points in the specification are required to meet the requirements, and the minimum compliance percentage of level 2 control points and level 3 control points is not set.
