Food FSSC 22000

Product introduction: Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) 22000 is created for food manufacturers and integrates the ISO22000:2005 Food Safety Standard and Public Available Practices for Food Safety (PAS) 220:2008. It was developed by a Dutch based foundation for food safety certification and has received support from the European Union Food and Beverage Industry Alliance. FSSC22000 has been approved by the Global Food Safety Initiative and is encouraged to be vigorously promoted and implemented.The promulgation of FSSC 22000 marks a step closer to the standardization and global recognition of food safety standards. FSSC22000 combines ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System, PAS 220:2008, and other additional requirements. Its content has also been recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). GFSI aims to maintain a benchmark review process for food safety management plans, in order to achieve uniformity of food safety standards. At the same time, adopting the GFSI standards recognized and widely recognized by global retailers is conducive to promoting the cost efficiency of the entire food supply chain.FSSC 22000 is a global and auditable food safety management system standard that combines Good Operating Practices (GMP), HACCP, and other management system requirements. This standard was designed to cover all processes in the food supply chain, whether directly or indirectly related to the final product. Scope of application of FSSC 22000

-Animal products that are prone to spoilage, including slaughtering (such as canned meat, poultry, eggs, dairy products, fish products)

-Vegetable products that are prone to spoilage (such as canned fruits, juice, preserves, canned vegetables, pickles)

-Products with long shelf life (such as canned food, biscuits, Dim sum, oil, drinking water, drinks, macaroni, flour, sugar, salt)

-The (bio) chemical products that need to be added in the food manufacturing process (such as additives, vitamins, and bio additives) do not include process technology and process aids

-Feed products (animal feed, fish feed, etc.).
