GS certification process
1. First meeting: Through the first meeting, the testing agency or agency will explain to the applicant's product engineer the specific procedures for certification and relevant standards, and provide the required documents and forms to be submitted.
2. Application: The applicant submits the documents that meet the requirements. For electrical products, the general assembly drawing, electrical schematic diagram, bill of materials, product usage or installation instructions, and differences between series models need to be submitted.
3. Technical meeting: After the testing agency has checked the applicant's documents, a technical meeting will be arranged with the applicant's technical staff.
4. Sample Testing: Testing will be performed in accordance with the applicable standard and may be performed in the manufacturer's laboratory or any of the inspection agencies' laboratories located in each country.
5. Factory inspection: GS certification requires a safety-related procedural inspection of the production site.
6. Issue the GS certificate.

GS certification scope
The GS certification mark is applicable to a wide range of products, mainly for products that are in direct contact with people. Electrical products include:
1. Household appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, kitchen utensils, etc.
2. Electronic toys.
3. Sports goods.
4. Household electronic equipment, such as audio-visual equipment, lamps.
5. Household machinery.
6. Electrical and electronic office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, shredders, computers, printers, etc.
7. Communication Products.
8. Power tools, electronic measuring instruments, etc.
9. Industrial machinery, experimental measuring equipment.
10. Other safety-related products such as bicycles, helmets, ladders, furniture, etc.
