Recently, many batches of goods exported to the United States have encountered the problem of 'difficulty in customs entry'. The U.S. Customs seized some goods and asked enterprises to deal with TSCA before customs clearance. According to TSCA regulations and U.S. customs requirements, TSCA compliance or exemption statement must be provided with relevant goods when entering the customs. If the enterprise violates this provision, it may face the consequences of banning entry, detaining goods, detention fees, fines, import blacklists and so on. The following is a brief introduction to TSCA certification for you.
On January 6, 2021, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published in the Federal Register rules for five persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic (PBT) substances, 40 CFR 751.401-751.413, which are applicable to DecaBDE decabromodiphenyl ether, PIP (3:1) isopropyl triphenyl phosphate, Pctp pentachlorophenol, hcbd hexachloroprene and 2, 4.6-ttbp has put forward control requirements for five PBT substances: 2,4,6 tri tert butyl phenol. These requirements have entered into force on February 5, 2021 and will be gradually implemented on March 8.
1: Which products need TSCA?

3: TSCA handling cycle:
The general cycle is 5-7 working days
4: TSCA handling process:
1. The enterprise prepares product data for the testing organization;
2. Sample evaluation and quotation by testing agency;
3. The enterprise fills in the application form and delivers the samples to the testing organization;
4. Both parties sign the contract;
5. Testing organization arranges testing;
6. After the test is completed, the testing organization issues the draft certificate and report to the enterprise for confirmation;
